Political Party: Unaffiliated Why I am running: We have become dependent on government to a level that is unhealthy and
unsustainable. Too many elected officials are no longer representing the people, they are representing the connected. I believe
the two parties have failed and will continue to fail until there is enough pressure brought about by the people electing
independent candidates. Our elected officials spend too much time in Washington DC and not enough time in their district.
The only path to true reform is to reform the institution of congress to reflect the founding principles of this great nation.
