From the editor:

I was in Las Vegas last week on business and I had the opportunity to meet Jay Leno. It was an interesting place to visit and I wrote a little analysis in my Blog. (There's a picture below as well)

Two quick observations from news stories this week; Terri Shiavo and MLB and steroids. First, Terri Shiavo, the women being kept alive with a feeding tube which the court ruled could be removed. It is a sad story and no matter what your perspective - it highlights the importance of a living will. I know that subject is uncomfortable - but the Shiavo case is an example of the dilemma you could put your family through if you don't have one in place.

Major League Baseball and steroids is an example of political grandstanding. The use of illegal steroids is an issue for law enforcement and it is a matter best handled by the league on its own. This story is such a snoozer that the only reason people are watching is to see their favorite player. It needs to be removed from the halls of congress.

It was my Mom's birthday yesterday and she turned @#$%$#@. She was born on St. Patrick's Day in 19@#$%@. We don't see each other very much but I really enjoy our conversations over the phone. My children called her yesterday and I wish they had more opportunities to see my parents face to face. I always have them say I love you at the end of their conversations with their grand parents - something I never do. Don't ask me why but it is something we never do. It is so much easier to write. Although I don't say it, I love you Mom and Happy Birthday!

Thanks for your few minutes of support each week!

The weeks most interesting

Social Security; what to do? Harry Reid the Senate Minority leader for the democrats has nothing to offer but criticism. If ideas were money, he would be bankrupt!

We are being inundated with illegal aliens. When is the president and congress going to take this seriously? Do they need another 9/11. Pathetic I say...

What would you do if you came home to find your house gone?

More problems with illegal immigration...

It affects our children as well...

And more!

China and Russia practicing war games for invasion of Taiwan?

Original music scene & not so original...

Peasant's new release expected in May. Check out the details at http://www.thepeasants.net/

Common sense?

Social Security was a "depression era program". Now how can you tell me that a program that was developed for a 1930's economy does not need reform?

Did you know?

Jay Leno is a big Rich Hand Band fan? Stay tuned!

Jay Leno stopped to pose for a picture with fans of the Rich Hand Band along with Rich Hand himself. Jay was gracious enough to sign a couple of autographs for his 2 children. What a guy! His stand-up was excellent! Much more engaging than the Tonight show and I love the Tonight show!
