A picture of John Kerry at his audition for the Woody Allen comedy, "Sleeper", back in the 70's. When asked about why Woody Allen decided to play the part himself, John Kerry replied, "Woody had more credibility playing a sperm". "I realized from that experience that I could be more productive in the US Senate by focusing on legislation concerning fertility and women's health issues. I could be more hands on". He continued, " I'm not sure Woody thought I had the energy needed to play a sperm. Of course I disagreed and told him I could make the sperm lovable and energetic. Obviously, Woody disagreed. I'm over it".
Fact, fiction, or funny The past week saw near tragedy to a member of the "Rich Hand Band". Mike Perkins, moonlighting as, Director of Public Service Sector Marketing for the Unisys Corporation, while prospecting for business on a golf course in upstate NY, stumbled into a Raytheon golf tournament and was struck by a Titleist golf ball. The good news is he is OK! Out of this near tragedy sparked a new device that is being developed jointly between the Raytheon Corporation and Unisys Corporation. The new device will be named "Titleist Detection Unit" or TDU, and is expected to be launched at the upcoming PGA conference to be held at Pebble Beach, CA. Suggested retail price of the unit is expected to be $39.95 and will come in assorted colors and sizes. It will be sold exclusively through Pro Shops across the country. Moral of the story: Prospecting for new business can be dangerous to your health but good for the economy.
Story submitted by anonymous writer. One day the musicians for a rather large recording session were assembling at a studio. Everyone had their headphones on, the session was close to getting underway and the producer of the session came over the talkback system and said "Okay I need to have total silence! Just then the drummer on the session played a big Barumdum Crash! To which the record producer replied, "Okay who did that?"
