| | | | | From the editor: As some of you may have heard, we restructured the management ranks here at the corporate office. I would like to put an end to the rumor mill. We are not being sued by the Kerry and Bush campaign for last weeks inside story of the events in Iowa. There is not a hostile takeover by our investors to change the direction of the newsletter. And lastly, the Rich Hand Band did not pull their sponsorship based on readership numbers. They have been very happy with the results of their sponsorship to date. We have actually received requests for future advertising opportunities in the publication. I hope this clears up all the confusion. Thanks for your few minutes of support each week! Send us your news, funny stories, or anything you think your friends would find enjoyable. Please only G, PG, or PG13 material. As a favor, We are asking you to forward this newsletter to a friend. Your help is appreciated! In the end he medaled in 6 events and won a ribbon in 1! Lookout Phelps you have some competition!!! I am the proud parent of a GCST swim club winner!! Congrats Taylor!
The UN has been invited by the State Department, at the request of 13 Democrats, to observe our 2004 presidential elections. I find it unsettling to say the least. What are your thoughts? John Kerry and John Edwards ate at Wendy's? Who do they think they're kidding? Not most folks... A great editorial regarding the influence of musicians like Bruce Springsteen and actors like the Baldwin brothers. I was a bartender with Billy (William) Baldwin at the University of Binghamton NY, and let me tell you first hand, he has no influence. But boy could he attract the ladies to the bar on Thursday nights at the pub. Now that was influence even I could appreciate from a Baldwin brother...
Original music scene & not so original... The Gazette review of the "Something 4 Everyone" CD, is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday the 13th. We will publish only the positive comments (assuming there is some positive comments) in there entirety in next weeks edition.
Common sense? This is why government control of any business function can't work! Air Italia which is close to bankruptcy, has filed an action in the European Union to get other airlines in the EU to raise their fares so Air Italia can compete. Now that's soooo typical of government officials who claim to have the "peoples" best interest in mind. I don't know but I would bet, higher prices are not good for the "peoples"!!! Check out this logic...Another great article on tax reform. I just don't get how you can be against the concept. Unless of course you have a career tied to the tax code...
Did you know?
Hillary Clinton rang the opening bell at the New York Mercantile Exchange on Tuesday. The unidentified man in the picture has been accused by a Hillary aide as "goosing" Hillary, "just as she rang the bell". When Hillary was asked about the incident it was unclear whether charges would be filed. She was concerned that it may have been unintentional. She said, "If it turns out to be unintentional then we will definitely move forward with litigation". When asked to confirm the quote she continued, " if it was intentional then we will not file charges, can I be any clearer". She was later seen at the world famous Tavern on the Green Restaurant with the "perpetrator", having drinks. We can only assume they were negotiating a settlement. Hillary's husband, former President Bill Clinton when asked to comment on the "goosing" quickly commented, "It wasn't me". When he realized what our reporter was asking, he sighed and started going on about some incident in his early childhood that was in chapter 75 of his new book. Our reporter fell asleep during the conversation. We'll keep a close eye on this one! File it under; You can ring my bell! If you ever wondered the true agenda and impact of extreme environmentalist, check out this article about DDT and the devastating impact they can have on the poor around the world. They care about nothing but their anti American agenda. Problem is, they are responsible for millions of deaths around the world...
Fact, fiction, or funny News from the campaign trail: Former presidential hopeful Howard Dean has been accused by the Kerry campaign of giving the bus driver the wrong directions to Wisconsin. A Kerry spokesman said, "Dean has never gotten over his failure to win the democratic nomination". He went on to say, "we received a phony phone call which we tracked back to Dean's home in Vermont. The caller asked, do you have Price Albert in a can? Then proceeded to ask how's your trip to Wisconsin going?", then quickly hung up. A spokesman for Dean said, " Dean could not stop laughing to make a comment, but then quickly blamed his 12 year old son". Kerry's campaign said the mix-up was a welcome change from last weeks debacle when the Kerry and Bush campaigns collided in Iowa. At least there was no corn around to eat. It's not confirmed but it is believed John Kerry hates how corn on the cob gets stuck in his teeth. A Bush campaign spokesman said they had no comment on the event and denied any collaboration with Howard Dean's son. A couple of jokes sent in from a wonderful person and avid golfer my cousin Geri Geyer. Thanks! Golf appeals to the idiot and the child in us. Just how childlike golfers become is proven by their frequent inability to count past five. John Updike Man blames fate for other accidents, but feels personally responsible when he makes a hole in one. ~Author Unknown I don't say my golf game is bad, but if I grew tomatoes they'd come up sliced. ~Author Unknown If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball. ~Jack Lemmon It's good sportsmanship to not pick up lost golf balls while they are still rolling. ~Mark Twain Golf and sex are the only things you can enjoy without being good at them. ~Jimmy DeMaret The difference in golf and government is that in golf you can't improve your lie. ~George Deukmejian
